Properties: Off-white powder (granules), slight odor, non-toxic. Specific gravity 1.31-1.34, melting point 98 °C, soluble in benzene, toluene, chloroform, carbon disulfide, dichloromethane, acetone, ethyl acetate, not easily soluble in ethanol, insoluble in water and dilute acid, dilute alkali and gasoline.
Uses: CZ is a highly active after-effect Accelerant with excellent scorch resistance, safe processing, and short curing time. In the curing temperature above 138 °C when the promotion is very strong. A second Accelerant is often used in combination with WIlLING TMTD, WilLING DPG SP-C or other alkaline Accelerant s. Alkaline accelerants such as thiurams and dithiocarbamates enhance their activity. Mainly used in the manufacture of industrial rubber products such as tires, hoses, rubber shoes, and cables.
